ALTA/NSPS SURVEY
An ALTA/NSPS land title survey is a comprehensive survey designed to assess the potential risk that may arise regarding a commercial property. The ALTA/NSPS survey has specific minimum national standards and itemized requirements that are adopted by the American Land Title Association and the National Society of Professional Surveyors. As part of the participating party’s due diligence, definitive standards are devised from a list of items to check for possible risks and exceptions that may arise from a commercial real estate transaction. Some of these items are but not limited to:
